GST return filing in Gurugram is a monthly discipline: outward supplies reported by the 11th, GSTR-3B and payment by the 20th, and every rupee of input credit matched to GSTR-2B first. Gurugram, in Haryana on Delhi’s south-western border, is one of India’s main corporate and technology centres — Cyber City, Udyog Vihar and Golf Course Road house multinational offices — and, with Manesar, a base of the automobile industry.

Tax VKV Group offers GST return filing online to businesses in Gurugram: you send the month’s sales and purchase data, we reconcile and file, and you receive the acknowledgement along with a one-page summary of tax paid and credit claimed.

Serving businesses in Gurugram online. Our team works from Noida, Uttar Pradesh — we do not run a branch in Gurugram. Documents are shared over WhatsApp or email and every filing is made on the official government portal.

GST return filing in Gurugram: what the work involves

For most businesses in Gurugram the cycle is monthly: GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-2B generated mid-month, GSTR-3B with payment by the 20th. E-invoicing applies once aggregate turnover crosses ₹5 crore, and the annual return GSTR-9 (with the GSTR-9C reconciliation for larger taxpayers) closes the year. Smaller firms can still opt for QRMP and file quarterly.

In Haryana, registration becomes compulsory once turnover crosses ₹40 lakh for goods (₹20 lakh for services), and quarterly QRMP filers have until the 24th of the month after the quarter for GSTR-3B. Inter-state sellers and most online sellers must register regardless of turnover.

GST in Gurugram: the local business picture

A GSTIN in Gurugram starts with 06, for Haryana. The city’s companies are largely service exporters — technology, consulting, shared-service and back-office centres billing group companies and clients abroad — along with Indian headquarters of multinationals and thousands of start-ups. Refunds of accumulated credit, cross-charges between a head office here and branches in other states, and reverse charge on imported services are the recurring themes. Udyog Vihar and Manesar add garment exporters and automobile-component makers.

Shared-service and technology centres

Export of services under LUT and refund of input credit.

Head offices with branches in other states

Cross-charge and input-service-distributor rules for common expenses.

GST points for the main business types here

IT & Service Companies. Service firms rarely have stock, so their GST risk sits in timing and classification. Tax is due on the invoice date or receipt of an advance, whichever is earlier — retainers and milestone advances included. Credit notes for cancelled work must be issued within the statutory window. And where several services are bundled, or staff are seconded between group companies, the rate and even the taxability depend on how the contract is written.

Exporters. An exporter’s refund is decided by matching, not by argument. For goods, the shipping bill, the export manifest and the invoice details in GSTR-1 must agree to the rupee; for services, the foreign remittance must be received within the period the exchange rules allow, or the tax becomes payable with interest. Supplies to SEZ units count as exports only with the unit’s endorsement, and merchant exporters buying at the concessional rate must ship within ninety days.

Manufacturers & MSME Units. A factory pays GST on more than its sale invoices. Stock sent to the unit’s own depot or branch in another state is a taxable supply although nobody has paid for it; scrap and by-products are taxable; and inputs sent to a job worker must come back within one year — capital goods within three — or be treated as sold. Freight paid to goods transport agencies usually brings tax under reverse charge, payable in cash and then claimed as credit.

Why on-time GST filing matters here

  • Advances from clients are taxable when received; reporting them only when the invoice is raised leaves interest to pay.
  • Export proceeds not realised within the permitted period turn a zero-rated sale into a taxable one, with interest.
  • Stock moved to your own branch in another state without a tax invoice is treated as an unreported supply.
  • Late fees run per day of delay on every pending return, and interest at 18% a year applies on tax paid late.
  • Your buyers get input credit only when your GSTR-1 is filed — late filing is one of the quickest ways to lose a B2B customer.

How we file your returns

  1. Onboarding. We review your registration, past returns and any pending notices so there are no surprises in the first filing.
  2. Monthly data cut-off. By an agreed date each month you share sales, purchases, debit/credit notes and advances — from your billing software or as scanned bills.
  3. Credit check. Purchases are matched invoice by invoice with GSTR-2B; mismatches go back to you as a supplier follow-up list.
  4. Review, file, report. You approve the computation, we file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and you get the acknowledgements with a month-wise tracker.

Looking for “GST filing near me” in Gurugram?

A “GST filing near me” search in Gurugram will usually show directory listings. Before choosing anyone, near or far, ask three things: will they reconcile GSTR-2B before claiming credit, will you see the numbers before filing, and will you get the acknowledgement every time?

Tax VKV Group serves Gurugram online from its Patna office — there is no branch here. What you get instead is a fixed process: a data cut-off date, a summary for your approval, filing before the due date and a reminder before the next one.

GST filing in Gurugram — frequently asked questions

Yes. Offices of the same company in different states are distinct persons under GST. Common input services received at the head office are distributed through the input service distributor mechanism, and services the head office itself provides to branches are cross-charged with tax.

Yes. Income-tax TDS is a part-payment of your income tax and does not reduce the value on which GST is charged. GST is computed on the full invoice value before any TDS, and the two taxes are accounted for separately.

Under LUT no tax is paid and you claim a refund of accumulated input credit, which suits exporters with moderate credit. Paying IGST gives a quicker automatic refund through customs for goods, but blocks working capital meanwhile and is restricted for some exporters. The choice depends on your credit position and cash flow.

Yes. Registrations of the same business in different states are treated as distinct persons, so a transfer of stock between them is a taxable supply and needs a tax invoice and, usually, an e-way bill. The receiving unit claims the tax as input credit, so the effect is on cash flow rather than on cost.

For monthly filers GSTR-1 is due on the 11th and GSTR-3B on the 20th of the following month. Under QRMP, the quarterly GSTR-1 is due on the 13th and GSTR-3B on the 22nd or 24th after the quarter, depending on the state. Composition dealers pay through CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter.

Yes. Every registered taxpayer must file a nil return for a period with no transactions. Late fees apply to nil returns as well, though at a lower per-day rate, and they keep adding up until the return is filed.
