Every business that makes, stores, moves or sells food in India needs an FSSAI registration or licence. Since 1 April 2026 the tiers are simpler: registration for turnover up to ₹1.5 crore, a State licence up to ₹50 crore and a Central licence beyond that — and licences no longer expire, provided the annual fee and return are kept up.

The pages below look at FSSAI registration place by place — the food trade there, the category those businesses usually need and how we handle the application online.

One office, served online. Our team works from Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The places below are areas we serve online — they are not branch offices.

What every location page covers

  • Which tier and “kind of business” fits the food businesses common in that place
  • Documents we ask for and how the FoSCoS application proceeds
  • The mistakes we most often correct
  • How the work is done online, without a branch visit

Food businesses usually need other registrations too: see GST Registration and MSME / Udyam Registration.
