Income Tax Filing in Noida Sector 18
Online Income Tax Return (ITR) Filing assistance for businesses and individuals in Noida Sector 18.
Sector 18 is Noida’s central commercial district — malls, high-street showrooms, restaurants, cinemas, banks and office towers around a Blue Line metro station — and the busiest retail area in the city. For people who work or run a business here, the income tax return is shaped by salary structure, stock options, professional receipts and capital gains more than by anything local.

What filing an income tax return involves in Noida Sector 18
For salaried staff the work is reconciling Form 16 with the Annual Information Statement, valuing ESOP perquisites and comparing regimes; for founders and consultants it is the choice between presumptive income and regular books, advance tax and TDS credits. Companies and LLPs file their own returns in ITR-6 and ITR-5 with audited accounts.
Returns for a financial year are due by 31 July for salaried and other non-business taxpayers, 31 August for business and professional returns without audit, and 31 October where a tax audit applies. From 1 April 2026 the Income-tax Act, 2025 applies and the year is called the “tax year”. Uttar Pradesh does not levy professional tax on salaries, so there is no such deduction to look for in your Form 16. For house rent allowance under the old regime, Noida Sector 18 falls in the 40%-of-salary category; the 50% limit applies only to eight notified metro cities.

Three groups file from Sector 18: owners of its shops, restaurants and franchise outlets; owners of commercial property here who earn rent from retailers and offices, with TDS deducted by their tenants; and the staff of its stores, banks and offices. Franchisees should note that franchise fees and royalty they pay are subject to TDS, and that fit-out costs are depreciated, not written off at once.

Points for each kind of taxpayer
Shop Owners & Traders. Small businesses can use the presumptive scheme: declare at least 8% of turnover as income (6% for receipts through banks and UPI) and skip detailed books, for turnover up to ₹2 crore — or ₹3 crore where cash receipts stay within 5%. The catch is consistency: declare lower profit, or leave the scheme, and books and audit can become compulsory for five years.
Landlords. Owners of more than two houses are taxed on a notional rent for the additional ones even if they lie vacant. Co-owners are taxed separately on their shares when the shares are definite. Rent that cannot be recovered and later arrears have their own rules, and a tenant who is an individual paying more than ₹50,000 a month must deduct tax — as must any business tenant above the annual limit — so the landlord’s PAN should be given.
Salaried Professionals. Private-sector returns turn on details: two Form 16s after a job change (with the standard deduction and basic exemption counted twice by mistake), HRA where rent is paid, employer NPS, and stock options taxed first as salary and later as capital gains. Each needs to be traced through the Annual Information Statement.
Why the details in a return matter
- A trader who declares less than the presumptive rate without audited books invites exactly the scrutiny the scheme was meant to avoid.
- A third house lying vacant is still taxed on the rent it could reasonably fetch.
- After a job change, both employers often give the basic exemption — leaving tax due at filing, with interest.
- A return filed after the due date carries a late fee and interest, and some losses can no longer be carried forward.
- Banks and visa offices usually ask for the returns of the last two or three years, filed on time.
How we prepare your return
- First conversation. We note your sources of income and tell you exactly which documents are needed — no generic list.
- Reconciliation. Salary, interest, TDS and reported transactions in the AIS are tied to your records; any wrong entry is flagged for feedback on the portal.
- Regime and form. Old and new regimes are computed side by side, the correct ITR form is chosen and the draft is shared with you.
- File, verify, follow up. After your approval we file and e-verify, then track processing, the intimation and the refund.

Income tax filing in Noida Sector 18 — frequently asked questions
Declare the full rent as income from house property, claim the 30% standard deduction and municipal taxes, and take credit for the TDS shown in your tax statement. If the TDS is more than your tax, the difference is refunded. The tenant should give you the TDS certificate each quarter.
Not if you opt for the presumptive scheme and declare income at or above the prescribed percentage of turnover. If you declare a lower profit and your income exceeds the exemption limit, books and a tax audit become necessary.
Each of you is taxed on your own share of the rent, after the 30% deduction, provided the shares are definite and ascertainable — which a sale deed normally shows. The rent is not taxed as an association of persons in that case.
Income from both employers is combined and tax is recomputed, because each employer usually gives the full exemption and standard deduction. Any shortfall is paid as self-assessment tax before filing. Give us both Form 16s — or salary slips if one is missing.
The new regime has lower rates and makes income up to ₹12 lakh tax-free after rebate, but drops most deductions. The old regime helps when HRA, home-loan interest and investments are large. We compute both every year and show you the difference.
Filing is mandatory above the basic exemption limit and in certain cases regardless of income — large bank deposits, foreign travel spend or high electricity bills, for example. Even when optional, a return is often worth filing to claim a TDS refund or to build income proof for loans.
